US 20
US 24US 24 runs from the Missouri line at Quincy across the state to Indiana line east of Sheldon. The only major cities it passes through are Peoria and Quincy. The only significant sections that are divided are in the Peoria area, though small sections exist near Quincy and the Indiana line. The route came into being in 1926 (replacing the original Illinois 8), and has not substantially changed since its inception. |
