Illinois State Route 97Illinois route 97 connects Knoxville just east of Galesburg and Springfield in western Illinois. It has several jogs and multiplexes in its 100+ mile path. Of most note, it passes through the center of Springfield ending where I-72 meets I-55 on the east side. The original routing of Illinois 97 followed the current route of Illinois 116 from current route 94 to route 78. |
