Illinois State Route 60

Illinois 60 goes from Volo to Lake Forest in north suburban Chicagoland. The entire length is in Lake County. Route 60 originally was applied to the road from south of Richmond to Park Ridge that included Rand Road and the Northwest Highway. This is part of the current route of US 12. The current Illinois 60 was numbered rout 59A until the mid-1960s.
