Illinois State Route 59

Illinois route 59 goes from Antioch south to Joliet in the western suburbs of Chicago. Much of the highway is divided and goes through the booming western and northwestern suburbs of Chicago. Until the mid 1960s, Illinois 59A existed over what is now route 60. The main part of the route has not significantly changed over the years.

Illinois 59A Route: Volo (Illinois 120) < 15 miles > Lake Forest (US 41)
