Illinois State Route 47Illinois 47 extends from the Wisconsin line near Hebron down to Illinois 10 west of Champaign. In a sense, route 47 forms the western boundary of Chicago's suburbia. Before I-72 was completed, route 47 continued southwest from its current southern terminus just west of Champaign to Decatur. |
