Illinois State Route 16Illinois route 16 runs from Illinois 100 in Hardin (at the Illinois River) to Illinois 1 in Paris. It nearly crosses the full width of the state even though it hits neither Indiana nor Missouri. The west end features a long drawbridge runs concurrently with route 100. The east end also ends in a multiplex - this time with route 133. The original route went from Litchfield to Paris over a large part of the current routing. |
