Illinois State Route 13Illinois route 13 goes from East St. Louis all the way across the state to the Ohio River on the Kentucky line east of Harrisburg. The portion from Murpysboro to Harrisburg (through Carbondale and Marion) is a fairly busy divided highway. The current route is essentially the same as as the original one created in the 1920s however, the new route has been straightened and modernized. |
