- Illinois Highway Ends

- Illinois offers a wide variety of geographies and population densities. The Illinois highway system includes
congested freeways and surface streets in the urban and suburban areas of Chicago and St. Louis. In much of
the state, however, the land is flat and the roads are straight. In other parts, rolling hills and winding roads are
the norm. This site is dedicated to photography and maps of Illinois highways and focuses on ends, multiplexes and
freeway signage. More additions will be forthcoming as time permits. Submissions of photographs and comments are welcomed.
