Old State Road 5
Old SR 5 was one of the five original Main Market Highways designated by the state highway commission in 1917. The original routing was from Vincennes to Mitchell, but by the 1920s old state road 5 closely followed the current US 150 routing from Vincennes all the way to Louisville, Kentucky. In 1926 most of the route became US 150. By 1934, US 150 made it through the state. |
