SR 252

State Road 252 SR 252 is a discontinuous route with two sections. The numbering fits in more as a branch to US 52 than as a logical place for a 52 numbered road in the Indiana grid. The eastern road connects Brookville with a pair of Ohio roads that meet near the Ohio/Indiana border. The western section zigzags from Martinsville to Edinburgh and ends at SR 9 east of Flat Rock in Shelby County. A section of SR 252 between SR 9 and SR 29 was planned in the 1930s, but was never built.
