State Road 237SR 237 currently has two discontinous sections with a third planned in 2012. The original southern section connects SR 37 northeast of Tell City with the bridge over the Ohio River in Cannelton in Perry County. This section is a modern, rebuilt road. Most of the road follows a new terrain route that has been built since 2003.In 2007, the scenic and curvy part of the SR 37 route from Englsih south to I-64 in Crawford County became SR 237. SR 37 was rerouted down SR 64 to the new Fran O'Bannon Highway about 10 miles west. Another SR 237 section is scheduled to be built that will connect US 150/SR 56 and SR 37 in Paoli in 2012. |
