State Road 229State road 229 winds from US 52 to US 421 in Napoleon. The stretch from US 421 east more logically should be part of SR 48, but because SR 229 existed first, that designation was given. The section of current SR 229 from US 52 south to Batesville was designated SR 1 in the early 1930s. |
