State Road 51SR 51 is road connecting US 20 and US 30 in Lake County. It serves the Miller portion of Gary, Lake Station, and Hobart. Except for the northern mile by the Borman, it has only two lanes with numerous jogs in Hobart. SR 51 multiplexes with US 6 and SR 130 in its relatively short distance. In the 1930s, a section of SR 51 from SR 2 to SR 10 in Lake, Newton, and Jasper Counties was proposed, but was not built. |
