Indiana Highway Ends

State Road 25 State Road 25 currently angles generally southwest from SR 15 in Warsaw to a point west of Crawfordsville at SR 32. The orginal 1920s section connected Rochester and Logansport with extension to Lafayette following by 1930. The route from Rochester to Warsaw was open by 1932 as was the route from Lafayette south and west to SR 28. The portion of SR 25 from Logansport to Lafayette is slated to become the final part of the Hoosier Heartland Highway which in its entirety connects Lafayette to Fort Wayne. The route from Lafayette to Delphi is now under construction and this entire section will be an expressway. Several overpasses are already complete. For a few miles in Lafayette, SR 25 multiplexes with multi-lane routes I-65, SR 38, and US 52, but SR 25 is mainly a two lane road for the remainder of the route.
